Copper's Element-ary History Ernest Henry found a mother lode of copper in 1867, however, it has been around since ancient times. Copper is in many things, such as pipes, wires, coins, and it is a key element in creating things like bronze and brass. It is most important for it's use in electrical equipment. Copper is more commonly found in element form, not compound form. Some common compounds of copper are cuprous oxide(Cu20), cupric chloride (CuCl2), copper nitrate (Cu(NO3)2), and copper acetates, (Cu(CH3COO)2). There are 29 protons in copper, and 35 neutrons. There are also 29 electrons. The protons and neutrons go in the nucleus, and then the electrons are on the outside rings. The first ring has 2 electrons, the second ring has 8, the third ring has 18, and the fourth and final ring has 1. Here is a drawing of Copper. Copper is found on the periodic table in Group 11, Row 4. Here is copper in it's element form....

One example is that parents are most likely to be at work, or be busy, and it's hard for them to come to school to bring their kids to the games. Sports buses could take away that problem and allow parents to show up to the school in which they are playing at on time for the game, and not an hour early to watch warm ups. A...
